Announcement: BEWMAN Training of trainers

As part of the BEWMAN project, in the period of February 6th to 10th, in Skopje, Macedonia, Metamorphosis Foundation in cooperation with Computer Aid International will organize a training of trainers’ event in order to transfer knowledge and lessons learned from the EU to the Balkan countries. Haley Bowcock, the advocacy officer, from Computer Aid will conduct the training. Its main goal will be to provide partner CSOs from the Balkans countries with tools and skills for advocacy in the field of e-waste management and will enable them to transfer the acquired knowledge further to the members of the respective national networks.

 

Beside the Project partners, two external experts will attend the training, giving presentations on their work and through interactive workshop will transfer their experience and knowledge in the area.  The experts attending will be Stephane Arditi, Waste Policy Adviser, European Environmental Bureau and David Rochat, formerly of EMPA, now a consultant from SOFIES.
